This beautiful boy was living on the streets of Houston when we found him. He looked so scrawny and wary of us. We started leaving food out for him and he would gobble it right up. I remember the day he first let me pet him, he was filthy and adorable. On June 16th Brutus came by for food and then laid down outside our gate. We took that to mean he didn't want to be homeless anymore. He behaved really well with his first bath and was so brave at the vet's office. He did test positive for heart worm but has completed a round of doxycycline and is on Advantage Multi monthly treatment. We have been fostering Brutus and he is now ready for his forever home! Brutus loves going for walks, chewing on his ducky and rope and sleeping in his kennel. Brutus does not believe in cats, except to chase them so he would do best in a home without cats or small dogs. We love him so much and want to see him live his best life with his new family.
