We had to trap her to get her safe. Special Needs: Very shy What kind of home would be best for me: We are seeking a home with an experienced dog owner and someone who is home more than they're away. Lilah needs a quiet home with owners familiar with chihuahua behavior! She does not like being reached for quickly, so a home with no younger children would be best. All Lilah wants in life is a lap to sit in and someone to devote her whole heart to. She wants to be the center of someone's world. What is my personality like: At first meeting, Lilah is very shy and submissive. If she chooses you as her person, she will love you with her whole heart forever. Once she gets to know you, she is a lovebug. She loves to snuggle in bed and she loves to give kisses. She will do a happy dance when she sees you coming and will be your shadow. How do I act when I first meet new people: She is very shy! Lilah needs a patient owner who will give her time to warm up. With the right person, she opens up and is a wonderful dog. Tips and Tidbits: When Lilah first came to us, she would not let anyone touch her. She would whip her head like she was going to bite, but as never made contact. We believe it was all out of fear. Once she trusts you, she doesn't have a mean bone in her body! She is great with other dogs and has no interest in cats. House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
