Location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Adoption Fee:$200 Date into Rescue: 7/6/2019 Reason for being in rescue: Nc shelter- Adopted but then returned due to killing a cat. Special Needs:none noted What kind of home would be best for me: Diana would do well in a home with owners that are experienced with teaching dogs basic manners, but can also have fun! She does not need to go to a home with smaller animals. What is my personality like: Diana, our sweet 3 year old girl trapped in a puppies body! Diana is a true busy body. She has to be moving around finding things that interest her. Sure, she will cuddle with you for a minute but then she is right back to finding her favorite stuffed squeaky toy to destroy! For a girl with such a sophisticated name, she is very silly! She loves to nibble at your hands and jump on you so she can be noticed. It appears that Diana hasn't had much training in her past life. Diana needs a mom or dad that can show her the ropes! She will need a harness due to her pulling while on the leash. Diana does not know basic commands but she is highly treat motivated and willing to learn. Diana thinks that smaller animals are toys, she needs to be an only dog or meet a bigger friend to see if they would get along. Diana does well with being groomed but it is hard for her puppy-self to sit still for so long! She excels in new environments- nothing seems to phase her yet and she is truly fearless! Due to her being so curious you have to keep an eye on her, everything is fair game to this busy girl! How do I act when I first meet new people: Friendly! Overjoyed to meet people. Tips and Tidbits: Estimated birth date 7/5/2016. NO CATS House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
