About Tulip

Tulip is a long-legged terrier/chihuahua mix who is dainty and utterly delightful. She is 12 years old and approximately 7-lbs, and we are hoping to add a little more weight to her slight frame. Tulip is housetrained and has excellent house manners. She's always quiet and the only sound she makes is when she wakes up and stretches. Tulip likes her afternoon naps, and she likes to sit at the window and look out. She walks nicely on leash and is an easy girl to love. She gets along with other dogs and cats. Tulip has been diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse/congestive heart failure and she needs a quiet and calm home, and she requires daily heart medication and regular checkups with the cardiologist. Tulip is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, bloodwork, dental, fecal tested. Adoption process includes application, interview, home visit, contract and donation.
