Hi I'm Bert! I was abandoned in a house in Juarez, Mexico but luckily someone found me and I eventually made my way to Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue. Despite the long journey, I'm a pretty happy go lucky little guy that's just as happy running around playing as I am snuggled up next to my foster mom. I'm working hard on potty training and learning my manners - my foster mom tells me all the time how smart I am so I should have that down in no time. I'm a fast learner and treat motivated so that helps too. My current hobbies are following my foster mom around, exploring the yard, and my favorite thing ever - chewing on a bone. I'm a 4-month-old a beagle mix (?) and based on my paw size and long legs, I might be mixed with something a little bigger but we're really not sure - either way you would have to agree that I'm pretty cute. I'm currently being fostered in Zion IL with a fur brother and sister that are showing me the ropes, but I would love to have a family of my own that will spoil me and give me the great life I deserve.
