About Lola

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. My name is Lola The Fierce. My foster mom considered Lola The Cutie but you don't need to be cute when you are fierce. Thankfully though, I'm both things!!! Some kind people found me by their house, twice the same day to be exact... long story short, the person that had me was trying to get rid of me by dumping me on the street. But that's in the past; I wasn't born to be a victim, I don't l et my misfortunes define me. I have much to be thankful for - becoming a K-9 Angel being one of them. The nice people that found me gave me to my foster mom, and I am having so much fun at her house! I love kids and other doggies too, no matter the size. At first, there another foster puppy at my house and we played all the time. My favorite thing was stealing ALL the backyard sticks from him. Now there's an adult dog instead and he can be a little grumpy at times, but I am using my persuasion powers to get him to play with me, but when not playing, I love to cuddle with my humans. Foster mom says I may just be 6 lbs, but being little doesn't keep me from trying to rule the world - I am a tiny, cuddly boss. Don't let my cuteness deceive you! I am working hard on my potty training, but I'm still a little pup, or as my foster mom says, 'wittle', so I'm still learning. I can hold my business through the night though, so don't worry about losing your beauty sleep! If you are looking for a tiny, cuddly but fierce BFF, look no more! Apply at our website! Lola is a Female terrier mix and was born around 5/12/2019 and currently weighs 6 lbs. She will be making her debut at the adoption center 7/27 PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
