About Velma

This is sweet, scared Velma.. She was found abandoned with her equally sweet, scared sister and a younger male in rural MS last year in April! (her sister and brother/son? have both been adopted). They had to be trapped and brought into rescue. She is being helped by trainers to become used to humans, but,it's a long, hard road and she's still skittish and timid. She will need to learn to love her person in a home of her own so she can be helped to come out of hther shell fully. She is fully vetted,hw negative and has already come a long way. SHe was with a foster where she was playing with 2 other larger dogs. She was adopted, but, current adopters unfortunately cannot spend the necessary time with her as needed to let her become her true self. She would do great on a farm or large open area where she can play with others and know she won't be abandoned or feel abandoned if people are away from the home long hours.. Please open your heart and home to help sweet Velma. She will need a fence. Please note: An application WILL need to be completed if you're interested in adopting this sweet, but still timid girl.
