About URGENT - CHEWY

A5298480 Chewy is an adorable 10-year-old blond neutered male Chihuahua and Pomeranian mix who came in to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center with his buddies - A5298479 and A5298481 as strays on July 8th. Weighing 10 lbs, this curious little boy is one of those lovely calm lap-dogs just waiting to give you kisses and be held by you. He shared a kennel with three other dogs - all of whom were brought in together - so he appears good with other (small) dogs. His kennel mates have all been adopted and now it's his time to get out! Chewy shows signs of housebreaking, has a nice mellow level of energy. He's a bit timid right now, but the shelter is so overwhelming and noisy that it's pretty understandable. He loves to be held and he is curious enough to look over his handler's shoulder to check everyone out that is walking by him. Chewy has that cute scruffy look and walks fine on leash. He'll need to be adopted out on a health waiver because of his age and because he is missing a few teeth. We know that Chewy is going to be a sweet, funny indoor dog that is going to make any type of household a perfect family dog with lots of cuddling and smiles.
