About Ivory

Hi, my name is Ivory. No don't be fooled I am a guy dog. My name reflects my beautiful soft silky white coat. I am an 75-pound Great Pyrenees mix. I might have some Husky in me because if you look really close you can see I have one brown eye and one blue eye. I lived the first four years of my life with one person. He could no longer take care of me so he made the tough decision to bring me to a rescue so I can have a better life. I am very people friendly and I have some nice manners. I am not real vocal; I know how to sit on command, and I do a few tricks if there is a treat to be had. At 4 years young I still have lots of pep in my step. My ideal furever home will be with a family who can keep my active, take care of my beautiful white coat. I am a gentle giant, but I would do best in a home with older kids as I do like to jump up and give folks hugs. Most important is I need a family that will love me, provide me the security I need and take care of me THE REST OF MY LIFE, which could be 10-15 years. In return, I'll shower you with kisses, hugs, and good times wherever we go together. I am up to date on my vaccinations and I have a microchip.
