About Ghandi

Ghandi is VERY scared in the shelter and seems to have lost his trust in humans. He is a young shepherd mix who was found in the streets in a suburb of Houston, and he is currently being housed at a small city shelter (not with a rescue). He has some pretty extensive hair loss on his hind quarters that looks like it may be from a flea allergy, but some medicated baths and flea prevention should hopefully be all he needs to get that cleared up. He is very gentle but very timid, and it takes him some time to warm up to you, but he is not even the slightest bit mean or aggressive. He just needs someone who will give him time and patience to build trust again. He appears to be housebroken as he keeps a very clean kennel, and we know that with a gentle and patient owner, he will come out of his shell and be a perfect companion.
