About Bogie

Bogie is a very loving, but slow to warm up boxer. He was going to be euthanized because he bit his owner when his owner was starting a generator. Bogie is currently being socialized, and worked with at the shelter. He has been there for a long time and NEEDS a FOREVER family experienced with can-be-aggressive dogs. He has not shown aggression towards me, I'm the shelter tech, and did not show aggression, only fear towards others until he became more confident. He will now bark and growl at strangers when in his kennel, but respects his person when they correct him. He will need work on his temperament, and would do best in a home with adults only, in a quiet setting. When he knows you, he is a typical, animated, playful boxer boy. His smile lights up the room. He can also put ion th saddest face you've ever seen when he is unsure of something. He has to/needs to be neutered, and get a Dental, as well as updated vaccines. He can be a little socially awkward with other dogs, we are working with him on that, but he may be best as an only dog. Please help find Bogie a forever family, he could be at risk of euthanasia any day due to lack of space.
