About URGENT - MATT

EXTREMELY URGENT - Notice given to Matt that HE MUST BE OUT BY FRIDAY 7/19 AT 5PM, otherwise he will be euthanized. A5295898 Matt is currently being stabilized at an outside vet, because he has pneumonia. Rescue or adopter will be given an OTC (Order to Comply) and health waiver. Matt is a 7-year-old white and brown neutered male American Bulldog who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray on June 30, 2019. Assessment notes: Matt A5295898 greeted the runner with soft eyes, a neutral tail, a relaxed body and low ears. He was easy to remove and walked well on leash. When he was introduced to the small dogs at the fence he began low growling. He then stopped growling and walked away. He entered the yard on a long line and ignored the dogs for the first few seconds. He walked around with his mouth open and once he saw a small dog his mouth closed and he tensed up. His hackles came out and his eyes were alert, he walked over to the small dog and began growling. The handler removed him from the yard. NO SMALL DOGS.
