MEET Maximus Bear the Badger ! This adorable uniquely beautiful boy is looking for a forever family of her own. Max is a 14-16 month old Yorkie/Terrier mix with the spunkiest personality you've ever encountered. Not only is Max ADORABLE and full of love, He's incredibly smart! Good looks and charm all in one. His eyes are just amazing. This little spunk would would love children to play with in a yard, or another like sized dog to play tag and chase. He came from a home with a small female terrier, children and an infant. Max has been staying with a foster where he romps with many other dogs, big and small and having the time of his life until the perfect forever family can be found. Could that be you? Max was surrendered by his family. He came to us sweet and socialized, but a little shy. His personality has really blossomed in his foster home. Max is (now) crate trained trained and housebroken. His prior family kept him outside and brought him in when they were home. He is now expected to be an indoor dog. We have cut out all his matts & knots, bathed and had him professionally groomed. Max is up to date on vaccines including rabies, dewormed, microchipped and neutered. Max is a substantial good sized sturdy dog at 29-30 lbs. He should be 5-8 lbs less. His owners had him on a very poor quality kibble and he was fed a lot of human food. He's is now on a strict diet, with lots of exercise and a premium grain free food and his healthy weight should be 5-7 lbs less and this is something that will be added to his adoption agreement. As we pre-screen via email please tell us a little about your lifestyle, work schedule, how many adults, children or pets are in the household, area you live in, house or apartment etc. We will happily place Max in a home with children and other dogs no problem. He would prefer another doggie to play with. We expect him to be an indoor dog. Young dogs are a lot of work so please make sure you're ready for the responsibility, and that everyone in the household is ready for the long term commitment that training, grooming and exercise a puppy like this requires. Should things move forward to a meet & greet/home check situation ALL family members, kids and pets currently living at the residence must be present. The meet and greets are to not only make sure he gels with you guys and your dog, but that everyone in the family is on board and equally as enthusiastic. We do not make exceptions to this rule!
