About Chester

Update: Adoption Pending! Chester was just rescued from a not-so-good residential situation. I gave him a bath, but he desperately needs a professional grooming as he is extremely matted. He's medium sized 20 to 30 lbs. or so. We suspect he may be a cross between a miniature Australian Shepard and maybe a spaniel? Despite the horrible conditions he was living in, he is a sweet heart. He is extremely smart and will sit and lay down with just one command. He is the biggest love you will ever meet. He loves to snuggle up next to you and adores his tummy rubbed. He's very chill and has a wonderful temperament. He would be a fantastic and loyal family member. Chester would absolutely love a big fenced yard to run around and play fetch with his forever family. He is potty trained and has let us know every time he needs to go outside. He's had a bit of runny stool, but I suspect it's because of the change of food and maybe a little stress? However, the two times he couldn't hold it (because of the diarrhea and we were gone all day) he went right on the potty pad in the bathroom (such a good boy!) He is great with our two pitbulls and little chihuahua. In fact, I have not heard him growl once or witnessed any form of aggression at all. He stays home all day without incident - but be prepared for a love bath when you get home as he gets so excited to see you if you've been gone all day! He is just the sweetest little guy! He's one in a million and is looking for his forever family.
