About Sable

Sable is a 2 1/2 year old Border Collie mix. He is 1/2 Border Collie, 1/4 Rough Coat Collie and 1/4 Texas Cattle Dog (Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd). Sable is 47 lbs, recently neutered, UTD on shots and crate trained. We aren't sure if he is 100% house trained because he is rarely left unsupervised in the house. Sable has had some formal obedience classes as a pup and young dog. He is pretty good at not jumping up but has his moments. Sable has never been around other dogs except for dog classes that haven't had interaction, so we aren't sure if he is good with other dogs or not. He is good with cats. Sable LOVES his Frisbee and eagerly plays a game of fetch. He will need a home with older teens. We believe he would thrive as a disc dog, agility dog or herding dog and would love a daily run. Sable walks well on a leash although he must be in the lead.
