About Rocko

If you like comic books and rainbows, well then you've found your best bud, Rocko. Rocko is an 8 month old Rottweiler mix. We're not sure what he's mixed with, but he looks like a long haired Rottie. Rocko is hopin' that someone can break him outta puppy jail and get him home where he can start revamping his comic book collection, Rocko's friends describe him as generally polite and sometimes shy, which fits him to a T. He's a super sweet boy that loves his friends and neighbors, but may take a second to warm up to new people. Rocko loves other dogs! He and is buddy, Wilbur, were surrendered together, so we know that he gets along well with other dogs. We recommend that he meet any potential buddies before going home. We think that Rocko would be happiest in a home without any children younger than 8. He hasn't met any cats at SVASC yet, so please speak with an adoption counselor if you've got kitties at home. This awesome boy appears to be house-trained! He keeps his kennel spic and span for guests. He seems to understand that he shouldn't rip his toys or bed up too! Rocko walks okay on leash, but is still a young dog and so there's always room for improvement. Speak of being young, at 8 months old, Rocko still has lots of puppy energy and so he's hoping to find a family that is cool with taking evening walks or playing fetch in the backyard.
