Artik belonged to a family, but he wasn't treated like family. The poor dog was left tied to a tree for shelter and half the time never had food or water or couldn't reach it. A neighbor witnessed him many times getting kicked by neighborhood kids when he was wrapped around the tree and couldn't away, so one day she called Fresno Animal Control and they took him away. Thank goodness! We were asked to give him a chance, because the shelters are all full, and he was getting overlooked as he was so skinny and didn't look so great. We took him, got some groceries in him, and now he's a gorgeous young boy, still very friendly and sweet to humans, loves other dogs male and female both, is a beautiful red and white, and loves to be active. He would do best in a home with another young active dog to be his buddy, and can NEVER be tied up again! This handsome boy is ready to go now-neutered, vaccinated, chipped and groomed, Artik has been dewormed and cleaned up. More pictures available!
