About Demi

Meet Demi!! She is a cute, playful dog looking for a new family. Demi is a little pittie mix, weighing approximately 30-35lbs and is estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old. She still acts like a bouncy puppy. She will be spayed, receive her shots and be microchipped with her adoption. She is house trained, walks well on a leash but needs to be reminded not to pull. She also enjoys car rides! Demi has had a hard past, she was pulled from a kill shelter when it was down to her last couple days, full of puppies and ready to deliver any minute. She had been at the shelter over 10 days with no owner coming forward to claim her. UNCHAIN AMERICA stepped up and helped get this little girl and her babeis to safety. Unfortunately Demis troubles didnt stop there, after waiting and waiting and no puppies she was taken to the vet for X-rays only to see we were looking at over a dozen puppies and she still had a week to go! Demi delivered 18 puppies the next day. They were a week premature and unfortunatly most of the puppies did not survive. After such a hard labor and being just a young girl herself, Demi has rejected taking care of the babies that did survive. ** All of Demis puppies are safe and being cared for by another momma** With so much going on for this little girl she is ready to start the next chapter of her life and find a new home of her own. Demi is good with kids, cats and other dogs that are respectful of her space. She plays well with dogs but does not appreciate dogs jumping in her face. She also hasn't yet learned to share bones and special toys with other dogs. Despite everything Demi is still a huge love bug and enjoys nothing more than to play with her squeaky toys and cuddle with her people. She will be a wonderful addition to any family.
