About Fry

It's with an extremely heavy heart that I'm going to have to let my boy Fry go. He's 1 years old on July 15th. We were told he's a beagle mixed with a treeing walker hound. We've had him for almost a year now. He deserves a family that will have the time, space, and patience for him. We're currently living in a 600 sq ft apartment that is just too cramped for what he needs. We got him at 7 weeks old without thinking about the kind of life we'd be able to give him. I leave the house at 6 am and don't make it back inside until almost 12 hours later. It breaks my heart to know he's alone, in a cage for most of the day. I just simply don't have the time or space . He's mostly potty trained( if you consistently take him outside, he'll hold it), he's vocal when he wants to play, and he's also vocal when you leave. He loves bones, toys, peanut butter and most definitely cheese. He's not the best dog in the world, but he's mine and I wouldn't trade him for anything if I didn't absolutely have to. I'm moving mid-August and I would like to re home him before that to avoid pet fees, but it's not the end of the world if I have to keep my buddy for a couple extra weeks. He's good with other dogs, I don't believe good with cats. He likes to jump so I'd be careful with him knocking over small kids. He's very energetic, and he loves to play fetch(but hates to play drop the ball). He's known me as his owner his whole life, when I look into his eyes all I see are love regardless of any times he's gotten on my last nerves, and because of that I will be extremely picky on who he goes to. I will be charging a small rehoming fee to ensure whoever gets him has the ability to take care of him financially. An ideal place for him would be in a house , not a apartment , with room for him to exercise . He's neutered and up to date on vaccines.
