About Juniper

Hi I'm Juniper, I am 7 months old, and I am looking for my forever home. Only 1 month ago, I was saved from a shelter the day before I was scheduled to be euthanized... and just because I had a badly broken right leg that my previous owners ignored. When my foster family came to rescue me they noticed (unlike my leg) that my love and kindness couldn't be broken. Just one month ago, I had to be carried to the car-but I'm learning how to use my healed (but still damaged) leg so well that now I can walk to and even jump into the car on my own. While my break has healed and a consultation with a special surgeon determined that I did not need surgery, my leg will require me to be very cautious and not push it too hard. I am really easy going, but have to rest a lot because of my leg. I love to meet new people and love children and other dogs. I am a great sleeper and snuggler and want to be right next to you. While I want to be a regular puppy, I will have to avoid dog parks, squirrel chasing, and horse play to protect my legs. I also have to stay lean so I never have to bear too much weight on my other leggies. I go into my crate willingly and sleep all through the night without a peep. I am working really hard on my potty training, and I love the praise I get when I go outside. I have been through so much already in my short life, but I stay optimistic and am ready to love my forever family so much.
