Hi! My name is Ashley, and I'm a sassy, energetic, outgoing, affectionate, and 'big-personality' DSH brown 'tuxedo' tabby with white chest, tummy, and boots who was born in April 2018. Don't let my angelic face and big, innocent amber eyes fool you -- I am a pistol! By the way, my eyes are cute and endearing because they are slightly crossed like those of a Siamese. I thrive in a busy family atmosphere -- complete with the chaos of barking dogs, frisky young kitties, and well-behaved 'older' children. I just adore attention and would LOVE it if someone would dangle a wand toy for me all day long!. Obviously I love to play because I'm still young myself! A home with a teenaged feline buddy or two would be best for me because they'd be big enough to wrestle with me but young enough to still share my energy. A word of warning -- I'm 'sugar and spice' -- sweet but can be temperamental. I don't like to be told 'no,' so I need an experienced adopter who can be patient and firm with me. I was named after my rescuer who swept me up from a ghetto apartment complex. I was a scrawny, homeless, and very pregnant teenager who was dumpster-diving to survive. It wasn't long after my rescue that I delivered my trio of kittens. My rescuer reached out to Buster's Friends when they were just two weeks old to get us into a foster home until we could all be adopted. I was a perfectly nurturing mama, but now that the kittens are weaned and that we've all been 'fixed' as well as fully vetted, I'm ready to find my forever home -- this time where my family will take care of me and never let me be homeless again.
