About Star

Star is a high energy, very smart, very protective dog. She loves her family but is very leery of strangers and we can no longer trust her when we aren't home. We live on a small hobby farm with other dogs, cats, and goats, she's great with cats and plays well with the other dogs the majority of the time but gets aggressive when she's had enough. She seems to want to herd the goats but we haven't allowed her to do this out of fear of her hurting one. We got her 2 years ago when she was about 1.5 years old. She warmed right up to myself and my teenage children 2 female 1 male. But took a long time to warm up to adult males. She is overly protective of her family sometimes. She shows signs of anxiety before acting out but owner must know to look for the signs. Small fee required to be sure she's going to a good home.
