(PS: We cannot email or call every applicant to tell you that you were not chosen. When the dog is marked 'pending' on our website, it means we have picked someone, but they have not met up yet with the dog. It may or may not work out. Not until they are marked 'adopted', are they actually gone, so please apply.) Not related, but grew up together, Missy Rue and Lillian are 2 sweet gals who had their owner pass away. They have each other and that's what they are hanging on to now. �'�� Missy Rue is the black and white one, who is a tiny Mini- Shih Tzu. Her head is no larger than a tennis ball, and she appears bigger on print, then she really is. She maybe classified as an Imperial or a Premium Shih Tzu. She is the independent one of the two. and she loves to play more than Lillian (Lily). Missy with play with a tennis ball and toys, where Lily will but not as much. She seems more interested just being with her sister (not biological though). Our rescue went to pick up Missy Rue, when the shelter had just gotten lily back from previous owners that had adopted her. (The shelter didn't know they were bonded), and adopted Lily out separately. The new family quickly returned her letting them know that she was having a terrible time in the new home, (non stop shivering and not warming up to them), and they felt she was bonded with her sister Missy Rue, and just missing her. Not only had she just gone through the death of her owner, but not she was torn away from her best friend Missy. So, when we got to the shelter...Lillian was there and of course we took her too. (we have AWESOME FOSTERS!!!). �'�� Both girls are non-shedding and are now living in a foster home waiting their forever home. We believe Lillian is Maltese and Shih-tzu. Both are 5 yrs old. Missy Rue weighed in at 10 lbs and Lillian weighed in at 13 lbs. The foster is taking them out for walks often as she doesn't have a doggy door, and she hasn't experienced any accidents at all. She feels they are house trained. �'�� They enjoy going for walks and car rides, toys and people interaction is the key. (They both love people) Lillian is the alpha of the 2 and will alert you if someone comes to the door, but then she quickly stops barking when they enter the home. You can DEFINITELY tell that these 2 were loved and cared for. �'�� If you are past the puppy stages and prefer to have a pair of cute girls that are both house-trained, and loveable...and that will give you some wonderful years together, check these two out. �'�� They are current on all vaccines, Rabies shots, spay and microchipped. This BONDED Pairs adoption fee is set at $400.00 �'�� (WE WILL NOT SPLIT UP THIS BONDED PAIR, SORRY) Most everything we know about our dogs is in the bio..so please read it so you know what the dog is like and if it will fit your lifestyle. Once an application is received, it will go in that dog's file for review.
