Charlie I Male I 9 years young I Lab Mix I 65 lbs Black with brown highlights I Fully vaccinated & neutered I Potty trained I Knows Basic Commands *Owner surrendered due to moving out of the country Hi! I'm Charlie. I'm an introverted dog with a sweet disposition. I love car rides, but I love people more, so much so that I like to follow them around everywhere they go. I like walks, cheese, and turkey treats. Not sure why, but peanut butter just doesn't measure up to the other treats. I also like to protect the house (all bark, no bite), but am able to warm up to visitors once I'm able to greet them. I get along with people, including babies and respectful children. However, if I ever get uncomfortable I will walk away and just lay down nearby. When it comes to other dogs, I am selective about my dog friends. I prefer to hang with big dogs. I would rather not spend my time alone, especially during rain, thunder, or fireworks. I have separation anxiety but I can build trust over time and learn to cope until my family returns home. And please, don't let my age fool you. I will be 9 years young in August, emphasis on young in both health and energy. But a nice walk or two a day is all I need. The rest of the day I like to nap. I'm looking for a stable home with a furever family who will love me.
