About Kolo

Kolo here is one of the sweetest smartest greatest dogs in the world. He's 56-60lbs and 6 1/2 years old. He loves a good hike. In fact he prefers to be outside rather than in. I catch him sitting staring at the stars quite often. Especially on backpacking trips...He'll sit at the edge of a cliff at night and just stare. He loves a good game of hide a treat or pick a hand. HE LOVES A WALK! He's great with other dogs, cats, kids, and live stock. We have lived on a farm for the past five months and he does want to herd the cows and chase the chickens from time to time but that's about it. He loves to roam the pastures looking for gophers. Once he catches a scent, he's in heaven. He knows most commands and is eager to learn more. Kolo is looking for a family who wants and is able to spend a lot of time together. Maybe a family who has another dog to play with...maybe you're retired��%BD'��%BD|.maybe you can take him to work with you...being alone isn't his favorite. I would go as far as to say it's the thing he hates the most in this world...Well other than fireworks. My guess is he may not want to live with a crying baby but older kids seems like a good fit. My life is not at a place where I can give him what he needs...Time. We have spent almost four beautiful years together and I never thought this day would come. I love him with all my heart. I'm hoping to find a situation where I can come visit or take him for little camping trips. This isn't a must but a hope. I'm unable to give him more dogs to build a pack and I can't take him with me to work. He deserves and needs more so here I am...
