About Loki

This handsome red boy is Loki. He is a 3 year Australian Cattledog who weighs about 35 pounds. Loki is smart. He knows sit, stay, lay down, roll, and shake. He is house and crate trained. Loki has been nice with the people he has met. As with all Cattledogs, he prefers a polite introduction and does well after that. As is common with this breed, he will prefer a quieter home rather than a really busy home. Loki hasn't been around many dogs. He can be uncertain so will appreciate being an only dog or with a mellow dog who respects boundaries. Loki does like to chase a ball. He can learn to bring it back if someone wants to teach him. Loki is a wonderful hiking and camping partner. He is good on leash, though he likes to tug it at the start of the walk. He is also a good passenger in the car. Loki shows the usual mouthy tendencies of young Cattledogs. He sometimes nips at hers and will hold your wrists if you let him. Loki is a loving boy. He loves to be close to someone and is definitely best friend material for someone who knows this breed. He is not available to families with kids under 5. Loki is located in Yucaipa, CA. Loki is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Adopters need to be able to meet in Southern CA to adopt. We don't ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
