About Tess

Beautiful Tess! This 18mo old, 80lb girl is sweet as can be! She is great with everyone she meets and she loves children, too. Tess does still need a bit of manners training because in her excitement when greeting new people or playing with her family, she'll knock down the little ones, so kids must be over 8yrs old. She is a gentle tempered girl that also loves to play with other med to large dogs so another dog in the home would be best. She is also wonderful with the kitties. She will do best in an athletically active home that will take her on lots of hiking trips and long walks (although she is still learning to walk politely on a leash). A large breed experienced home is best. She rides great in the car so she'd love to go on daily outings, too. Tess is fully house trained but will get bored if alone for too many hours so while she's still a young girl, crating her is best. She can be alone for a reasonable amount of hours. Tess must have a 6ft, securely fenced backyard and for this large girl, a large yard or property would be ideal.
