About Roxy

Roxy - AVAIL 8/4/19! :) F, 1 y/o, 32 lbs Cattle Dog mix Spayed Roxy is shy at first but really comes out of her shell and has fun! She's not overly energetic but she is still a puppy who enjoys running around and wrestling with other dogs her size. So far seems to be OK with older, respectful children and lays down next to cats after proper, slow introductions. Roxy would be best suited for a home who'll let her grow up with wide open spaces and have a chance to be a 'working' dog with someone who'll continually challenge her! Potential adopters MUST understand and preferably have experience with the needs & behaviors of herding breeds like cattle dogs before inquiring/applying. HISTORY: Young Roxy was extremely frightened and about to be euthanized at the kill-shelter and fear-nipping when we found out about her. Our volunteers picked her up and brought her to our vet to be checked out and have had her in foster homes successfully ever since. She's now crate trained and housebroken and openly plays with both humans and dogs alike. FOSTER / ADOPTION Our adoptable pups are up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, and fully vetted!
