SAY HELLO TO TOMMY! Tommy is a gorgeous golden coated 7 year old Shih Tzu boy. Weighing in at just 10 pounds, Tommy is such a bright ad bubbly little guy. Tommy is a cute little Shih Tzu and may have a splash of something else in him but we are not sure what other than 'cute!' He is an easy dog who is very laid back and loves to look up at you with the biggest brown eyes ever! Tommy has been here about a month. He was found and taken in by a person who did not look for his owners. After 2 and a half months they decided they didn't want him because he occasionally marked in the house. As soon as we got him, we did our best and used all outlets to find his owners to no avail. His owners were never found nor did they come forward. Tommy - like so many of here in the dry state of Arizona - has a minor case of 'dry eyes' and needs very inexpensive drops in his eyes every day. He gets along with everyone he meets and follows his person from room to room but isn't a pest. He does not bark a lot and is a pleasure to be around. Tommy will require a family that will continue to be consistent and patient with his house training. He loves his walks to the park and enjoys the attention and complements he receives when outside in the pubic! He is polite passenger in the car as well. Tommy prefers to be with adults or adults with older teens .. he does not really care too much for toddlers and kids. Tommy is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Tommy's adoption fee is $ 375.00 This fee includes his Veterinarian Wellness check while here at the rescue, his neuter, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Tommy will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that he has been eating.
