About Arlo

Don't be fooled by his old face, ARLO is a young dog. He is quite the character and sure to always put a smile on your face even when he's being 'naughty.' If you have a good sense of humor, this is the dog for you! He always keeps his foster family entertained with his hilarious personality and you can't help but laugh at his expressive face. Arlo is a super friendly dog with people, children (6+ probably best as he can sometimes be 'puppy mouthy'), and other dogs of all sizes. Arlo would do best in a home with a tolerant dog as he loves to play, can play rough, and doesn't always understand the need for personal space. :) Arlo would love an adopter who will continue to work on his training. He has completed a 6-week course of beginner level obedience training and he knows a lot of commands. He thrives on a routine with a firm but patient handler. Arlo is a big dog and does best with rules and structure. He knows commands such as sit, down, wait, off, stay, leave it, look, out, and heel. He LOVES to learn tricks.
