About Ellie & Jax

Ellie and Jax are sweet yorkies! When their owner died these sweet babies ended up in the local pound. They seem to be housebroken but we don't guarantee they won't have an accident. Accidents are expected with a new dog in new surroundings. Ellie is a 5.5 year old female that weighs eight pounds. She is spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is a sweet lap dog that wants to be close to people. When other dogs are playing, she likes to bark at them and chase them. Jax is a 4.5 year old male that weighs 12 pounds. He is outgoing, social with other dogs his size, and likes to chill out on the sofa when not snooping around. There is an adoption fee and we require an application before meeting them. NOTE: We are a rescue, the dogs are in foster homes. WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. We require an application BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets. We contact vets to ensure that pets already in the adoptive home are current on vaccines, heartworm prevention and sterilized. We have gotten to know the pet and our goal is to make the best match, between pet and people. PLEASE be aware, we do not adopt out to a home that has an animal which has not been spayed or neutered.
