About Kaytie (west)

Hi, my name is KAYTIE - ID#A4237895. I am a spayed female, black and white American Pit Bull Terrier, and I weigh about 49 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 3 months old, and I have been at the shelter since Apr 08, 2019. Kaytie was found by a caring stranger who had her for about a week, and said she was very sweet, and even his year and a half grandchild climbed on her with no reaction. Kaytie has good manners, and was not destructive. She mostly stayed inside, and would bark when someone knocked on the door. When brought to the shelter, it appears that Kaytie had recently weaned puppies, but no information about them. Since she has been at the shelter, Kaytie has been a favorite. She loves to do 'zoomies', and loves to play. She loves being petted, and gets 'wiggle butt' when you pet her. She also loves to play with balls, and loves splashing in the pool. She sits pretty for treats, and is so cute! Kaytie was calm in her kennel and has done well with little kids. Unfortunately, Kaytie is just another black and white pittie, and just gets overlooked because there are just so many of them. Kaytie would make a wonderful furry family member, kind and gentle, and great with kids. Unless she is adopted very soon, she will face euthanasia. She has been at the shelter way too long, and room is needed for new incoming dogs. Please consider this sweet lady for your family.
