About Blake

Hello my name is Blake. I was pulled from the Harris County Animal Shelter in Houston TX on my last day to live this summer. I had two burns on my back with what looked to be cigar burns and I needed immediate medical attention. I was lucky enough to survive parvo only for this to happen to me per the shelter. I sadly was an owner surrender also to make things worse. My rescue in NC seen my picture and had me pulled so I could get the medical attention I needed. I am all healed and good as new now and currently in boarding. I had a foster home and then I was adopted but was returned because my dad had breathing issues and could no long keep me. I was adopted with my friend Charlotte so I am dog friendly and now looking for a new family. I need a fenced yard and someone who is active since I'm an active dog. I would love to find a home where someone would play fetch with me and take me on long walks or hikes. I love my down time also with my people also to hang out and watch television. I am just over a year old now and weigh around 38 pds. I'm fully vetted, microchipped and on monthly preventives. I finished obedience school in November because nobody ever took time to show me good manners and the do's and dont's in life but now I know lots of commands and love to show off what I've learned. I just get so excited and want to greet everyone I meet because I love everyone including children. I'm all tail wags and kisses! I am now in a foster home and doing great! Can you please consider adopting me or doing a foster to adopt so I can find my forever home and never left at a scary shelter again? I am a really good boy and just want to find my people that will love me forever and ever. Love Blake
