About Aspen

Hello my name is Aspen. I was pulled by my rescue along with my brother Alpine from Harris County Animal Shelter in Houston TX. We were found in the street in front of a hardware store because I was was thrown from a car along with my brother but my leg was hurt and I couldn't walk. My brother stayed with me until help came. My rescue pulled us and unfortunately my nerve was severed in my leg and it was just dangling and couldn't be fixed. I had my leg amputated and I'm no longer in pain and walk just fine and really get excited when I get outside and just want to play. I am currently in a foster home in TX but will arrive to NC and be with my rescue on 7/28/19. My rescue hasn't found a foster for me yet in NC but said I can be fostered to adopt or just adopted and they will finish paying for my vet expenses here. I need to be spayed but that is it. I am HW negative and have been started on preventatives. I am 1 yr old and 30 pds. I love to be with other dogs and I'm also kid friendly. Can you help give me a loving foster to adopt home, a foster home or just a permanent home to not ever have to worry about being in a scary shelter ever again? My brother Alpine is also looking for a foster and home as well. He is in great health and doing great. Please consider me or both of us. Love, Aspen
