About Barkley

Barkley is a 4 year old Shih Tzu mix weighing about 12 pounds. He was brought to a high kill shelter with signs of abuse but he has shown no signs of it and is a sweet and friendly boy. He was very scared when he first arrived but within a day he was wagging his tail and asking for affection. He gets along with the other dogs but gets intimidated with high energy dogs. He is great with people. He walks well on a leash and loves to go for walks. He has an adorable way of jumping up as if he is begging because he wants attention. His adoption donation is $300 which includes his neuter, vaccinations and microchip. This handsome boy probably had a difficult life in the past and now he is ready for his forever home where he can be loved and cherished. We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida.
