About Paloma

Adoption Fee: $80.00
Australian Cattle Dog mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

**This girl has been in rescue for 3yrs as of 2019. Please share!** Paloma is a 3.5 year old Australian cattle dog mix who is looking for a loving forever family. Paloma is a very special girl who is looking for a very special home with just the right family. Paloma has been with us a long time while she learned not to fear people and to trust. Paloma came to us originally with her sister after they were abandoned by their family. It's been a long road for Paloma to learn to love, but once she warms up she is a cuddle bug who will get in your face with kisses and snuggles. Paloma will need a home with no children and adults who understand that she will need time to warm up and come around. She would do best to meet her new family a few times before going home so she goes home with someone familiar. Paloma is very food motivated which is hugely helpful in getting her to warm up. Paloma loves to play with toys but her very favorite thing is to play in a kiddie pool! Paloma will need a yard to run in and will definitely need her own kiddie pool to splash in. Rain or shine you can always find Paloma in her pool. Paloma will need a canine companion in her home and does best with dogs her size or smaller. Paloma will need some training in her home, especially leash training. She will need to go home in a carrier as she gets scared on a leash, but could slowly learn in time. Paloma is kennel trained and a very clean polite girl. Paloma will make a loving and loyal guard dog and companion to just the right family. She weighs 40 pounds full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. Her adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit. Her adoption fee is $80. To meet her contact her foster Caryn at 602-373-0115
