About Hooch

I remember being the adorable happy puppy. My days were filled with truck rides, morning coffee and manly yard work. Me and dad are inseparable! Our extended family makes jokes that I'm the only thing keeping dad active and sane. Dad would tell me that I was the best listener around here. No one else cared what an old man had to say. Heck I loved to hear his silly stories and what he called glory days. Several amazing years have passed and we both have slowed down a bit and well lately he hasnt been too talkative. There has been a lot of truck rides but I havent been able to go with. Dad comes home really tired and he just wants to sleep so I have been his bed partner while the rest of our family takes care of mom and the property. Last month dad was told because he cant remember who we are and where he is that he and mom need to move to a small home where doctors and nurses can take care of them. I tried to let him know that this is my job and I can do it. I know what he needs but he keeps asking who's dog is this. I'm your big dog Hooch... dad ....remember?? Fastforwad to today. Dad and mom are being moved into their new nursing home and I'm sitting in a shelter kennel. I cant help second guess everything I have done to figure out what I did wrong to have dad not want me to go with. He is my world he has to know that?!?! Hooch you did nothing wrong!!! You were the ultimate Man's bestfriend and we know your dad's best memories are of you and him together���� Now it's my responsibility to find this loyal regal boy a forever HOME where he can share his love with people who will adore him as much as his dad did. Hooch is waiting at Webster animal shelter for you!! He is fully vetted and heartworm negative.
