About Rocky (west)

Hi, my name is ROCKY - ID#A4117568. I am a neutered male, brindle and white Dutch Shepherd mix, and I weigh about 71 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old, and I have been at the shelter since May 24, 2019. Rocky was surrendered to the shelter for not doing well with the kids in the home. We are recommending an adult only home for Rocky. His former owners said he loves car rides, is crate trained and very friendly and playful with adults. There's no 'pause'button on this guy lol. Rocky may be 6 years old, but he has tons of energy and wiggles and wags so hard, I thought he was going to fall over. Rocky is a super happy guy and loves to run and sniff and explore. He is always happy to show off 'sit' for a treat and is very focused; they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but I'm sure Rocky would love to learn something new. Rocky did well overall with his dog evaluation. He was polite with his greetings and coexisted in the yard well with the other dogs.
