About Oliver

Sweet Oliver! This darling, 5yr old, 11lb boy was rescued from an abusive owner that would drag him and drop him on the sidewalk. This person is now dealing with the legal system and will never be allowed to own a dog again. Regardless of this treatment, Oliver is a very sweet, friendly boy, just looking for someone to cuddle with. He can be a bit nervous when meeting new folks so will bark... all the while wagging his tail. He needs an owner that will be gentle and patient with him, and that will help continue building his confidence. He is fully house and crate trained and can be left home alone for a reasonable amount of hours. He gets along great with other animals but really doesn't care about having a doggy playmate. He walks great on a leash and is learning quickly how to ride in a car without being crated. Oliver is a wonderful little guy that will be a great addition to a very lucky family.
