About Peter

Peter Cottontail is the sweetest 7-year-old Maltese/Poodle (Maltipoo) you will ever meet! He is 18 pounds of love! He absolutely adores children, enjoys the company of other dogs, and can't wait to go on walks around the block. He has a blast running in the backyard and playing with chew toys. He was picked up as a stray in the Austin area and no owner was ever found. Their loss we say! He is neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative, and microchipped. His current foster is working on crate-training, potty training, and not jumping on people when overly excited. We represent the dog to the best of our ability and since they are in rescue, we do not always get their history. Please note: We are a non-profit Pomeranian Rescue with dogs in private foster homes. We do not have a facility open to the public. We require an approved application before a potential adopter is introduced to a dog. We contact vet references to ensure animals in the home are current on vaccinations, heart worm prevention, and sterilization. We do not adopt our dogs to homes in which an animal is not spayed or neutered. A home visit may be required.
