About Romy & JuJu

PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSTING IS FOR A PAIR OF BONDED ADULTS - WE WILL NOT SEPARATE !!! ADOPTION FEE IS FOR BOTH. Romeo 'Romy' is approximately 9 years old, UTD on all shots, neutered, had dental on 7/1/19 and lost most of his teeth. Romy's left hind leg is atrophied due to either being kicked or stepped on by a horse. Unfortunately the family did not see fit to have it attended to at the time of the incident so it's pretty much useless now; he is not in any pain and can easily keep up with the pack here. HW neg and bloodwork was within normal range, but we do recommend a recheck of his thyroid in 6 months. Neither he or Juliet had seen a vet for many years :-( Juliet 'JuJu' is approximately 8 years old, UTD on all shots, spayed, had dental on 7/1/19 and lost 1 tooth. JuJu is a bit overweight... by about 2-3lbs at most, but she has no issues keeping up with others. HW neg, bloodwork within normal range and currently on a diet. Both are chipped to the rescue and will remain so no matter who adopts them. These bonded kids were happy until recently when their human mom died. The family moved them to outside because they didn't want them. Finally one family member decided to contact the local shelter to surrender them, but the shelter called us for help instead. These 2 wee ones would not have done well in the shelter. Romy and JuJu ARE INSIDE BABIES; they CANNOT go outside WITHOUT supervision. Their ideal home will be someone who is home all day; loving and kind. These kids have some anxiety issues when left alone for long periods of time. They ARE NOT crate babies. And you should have a fenced yard. Adopter will promise to always supervise while outside.
