About Oscar Octavius

EMERGENCY!! Oscar is a 9 month old, Black Mouth Cur. We adopted him as a puppy last December. He is a loving, loyal dog. Oscar weighs approximately 70 lbs. and is crate trained. He loves his half can of wet food each morning and eats dry good slowly throughout the day. He is not an aggressive eater. He will not jump a fence and is good with our kitties. He adores our family and children and is greatly loved. Recently, Oscar, bit two young children he had never met. He left puncture bites on both children. After consulting with our vet, animal control, and a certified behaviorist Oscar is believed to be a good, trainable dog. He is protective and sadly we cannot keep him with so many people coming and going in our own home. Currently he is under a mandatory 10 day rabies quarantine. Oscar is up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. Oscar needs a family that is capable of training a large, intelligent puppy. Owners need to have time and the capability of being firm and consistent. He is precious to our family and we are doing all that we can to make sure he has a happy home.
