About Johnny

Welcome Johnny to CCPAL. He is a 5-month-old Shepherd/Collie mix is what he looks most like. He has semi-erect ears when he is listening. He is smart, good with other dogs, learns quickly, attentive and likes affection. You can see in the video his encounter with the momma dog, Claudia, that he didn't mind her coming up in his face when he was on a leash. He is pretty good on a leash and was catching on quickly when we were working with him. He loves to romp and play in play groups here in the rescue. He is an active dog and would be good in a house with some property or someone who is active and wants a dog to join them in outdoor activities. If you had another dog he could do some of his playing with your other dog. A good shepherd/Collie is one who has a good amount of mental and physical stimulation. He is healthy, up on his shots, neutered soon and will be ready for his forever home. Johnny is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with a transporter to get him to the East Coast, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Vermont, Washington and Oregon. His adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185.
