My name is Storm and I am described as a male, tan and white German Shepherd Dog and Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter thinks I am about 3 years old. I weigh approximately 55.00 lbs. I have been at the shelter since Jul 05, 2019. I have been waiting for my owners to come get me, but I guess I am not wanted anymore. My entire stay here, I have struggled with shelter life. I want to trust the nice volunteers who come here and bring me treats, and I come up to the front of my kennel very interested, but then I retreat back because I'm afraid. I long to feel safe again, as it's scary here. There are dogs barking all around me, we are stressed and scared. I have been here over a month and now I am told that I am on the euthanasia list. I am trying to be brave, but because I am scared, I am overlooked. They took me out of my kennel for a temperament test with a female doberman, and I acted like a different dog - I wasn't shy and scared. See - I just need that special someone who is willing to give me a chance. Someone who take time with me, and who wants to save a dog in every sense of the word. I promise if you help me to feel safe and secure, I will be the companion you have been waiting. I need you. Please help me before it's too late.
