Isabella is a sweet little girl who was rescued minutes from death in a high kill shelter in Texas. She is a Terrier mix, about 1 year old and 15 lbs. When she was first rescued from the shelter, she was absolutely terrified of everything. But thanks to her foster family, she's coming out of her shell more. Her foster wrote: 'She is happy and super playful with other dogs and cats. She absolutely loves other dogs! She also does well with kids. Still working on her to warm up to us. When the other dogs are around me she comes close and licks my hand, but still working hard to get her to warm up. She does sleep in my daughter's bed though!' Isabella will make an amazing addition to any family, but we would prefer she goes to a home with at least one other dog, so they can help her come out of her shell. She just needs some time and patience to warm up and know she's safe. Isabella is currently with her loving foster home in Texas, but transport can be arranged to an approved adopter!
