SUMMER, age 2 years old now, is one of the 5 Iowa dogs we volunteered to take of a 18 Great Pyrenees dogs that were surrendered. She was moved to a foster home who has prepared her for a normal life. She would do well with another dog. She loves to play ball. She was diagnosed with epilepsy but is doing great on her medicine now. She can live a long health life . She loves kids and is gentle. She enjoys playing with tennis balls - see the video. . The Pyr could take them as a threat or be attacked. Most of these dogs are not a dog park breed. They bark a lot and can bother your neighbors.
