Beau - is 3 years old and is neutered and up to date. He walks amazingly on leash, doesn't have resource guarding that we know of, and has done wonderfully with all of the dogs he's met while he's been with us. He has seen cats at the shelter and doesn't really seem to be phased by it. He could potentially go home with older, Pyr savvy kids that understand that even though he is a big fluff ball that looks great for hugging, he is proud and dignified and appreciates his space. If you have never had a Pyr Puppy you need to read this : http://www.nepyresq.org/page/i-want-a-great-pyrenees-puppy-50.html The application process is to go to our website and fill out an adoption application form. http://www.nepyresq.org/page/adoption-process-47.html The adoption fee is $400 due to cost of medical needs of our dogs. We do not accept INVISIBLE fencing for the following reasons: 1) Most Pyrs ignore the pain and go through it. 2) This is a guardian breed and this fencing does not keep people or other animals out of your yard. The Pyr could take them as a threat or be attacked. Most of these dogs are not a dog park breed. They bark a lot and can bother your neighbors.
