About Newt

Newt is social, affectionate and loves to be outside. He enjoys treats and chew toys. He knows basic commands like sit and shake, walks well on leash and is eager to learn more. Newt currently weighs 103 pounds and is approximately 3 years old. He is a Newfoundland mix. Newt was adopted and returned. He left a jovial, happy boy but something in his adoptive home triggered him. Upon his return to us, we are working on behavioral issues when he meets new people. So far it seems to be fear based. Newt is part of our special adoptions program. We feel he will make a wonder ful dog for the experienced owner, willing to continue to work with him. Our program includes: Meeting Newt 2+ separate times with our skilled staff & if we all agree upon adoption, a trainer will deliver him to your home for an integration session (no additional charge to you).
