About Lexi

Standard size purebred Merle Aussie with 1 partial blue eye. Coloring - black, grey, white & beige. (NO PAPERS) We rescued her from a breeder & she & lived in very poor conditions. We feel she was either abused or neglected with minimal human contact at the time of rescue. We've had her 2 years. She does not respond well to a loud voice or physical correction. She does however respond well to praise & affection. When meeting new people she is cautious & untrusting. It will take her a little time to warm up to a new family. She is nervous & uncomfortable around children. *This why we are rehoming her. We have 5 young grandchildren & she is very uneasy & nervous when they are around. She has never shown aggression, but she has barked at a child when they have approached her to quickly or have startled her. She is beautiful & very friendly once she know you. She is best suited for a home with no children. She is leash, crate & house trained. She has also gone through obedience training & is very smart. She has done great when groomed as well. She is great with other dogs, but has never been around cats. Lexi needs a home that can show her love..
