About Titan

We are so saddened to have to re-home our big pup Titan. He is a wonderful beautiful funny loyal dog and he is very very smart. He has fear/protective aggression which started at around 13 months old. He is now 17 months, we have been working with a dog trainer for him and it has been going well for walks so far but at home it has been a struggle with him protecting the yard and the home (lunging, barking, growling), no biting. He accidentally hurt me while I was trying to get him away from the door when an unexpected guest came over... I am 6 months pregnant and we are afraid that he might accidentally hurt the baby when baby comes into the picture or become more protective... we need too find a strong knowledgable dog owner that knows how to train and help fear/protective aggressive dogs and will be able to give him the love, attention, patience and the home space he needs. He has been around other dogs and has done great and he lives with a cat, but we are unsure of how he will treat any animal that he does not know now. (On walks he is not worried about dogs or cats... just humans.) We love him so much and need him to go to the perfect home.
